Ever since I was a child, I have expressed myself
through art of painting. Creating art took me into a world of my own, and the
encouragement I received led to further training and explorations.
Through several workshops, informal training,
advice from friends and self-imagination ,
I found my stylistic way of depicting life in its various aspects, this was
realized after 6 years as I discovered fabric as an actual medium
for creativity .
I enjoy using fabric and thread to convey an
image or a feeling. The tactile nature adds a lot to the creative art
especially in my semi abstract arts.
My main themes have been African life, women and
children .why women and children? This is due great role they play in African
life and the great challenges they go through especially in developing
countries.
